Hey Hera! Hahah firstly I'll like to say CONGRATS to Hera cos y'all got something back from Intracomp!
Next, I'll like to say that the Standard Fours are not disappointed with y'all at all. Seriously, Im more than proud of you guys. Haha seriously even though y'all ah, were probably so nervous that the drills also do wrongly but haha I hope that y'all treat this less of a competition, and more of a learning experience.
I hope in years to come, y'all can look back at this competition and laugh it off, because hahaha I think all of you 7 looked really cute when the Dari kiri was spent walking like in a squished line or something, haha I think I told you all about this already.
Haha as a Standard Four of Hera, I guess i've taken you all since last year's Competition as well. That time when even Sgt Mae had to compete together. Thing is, I've seen how you all have grown in maturity, as well as knowledge of FA :) Looking back at one of the videos below, you see Celine turning to her left for kebelakang pusing, sedia and banging with her left leg. You don't see her doing that this year ;)
Yeah, when I see the spirit you all put in for this competition, its more than enough a reassurance that you all are putting in your best for this competition. Im already happy as it is! So don't cry when things aren't cool in the competition, your seniors will never be unsatisfied with what you've done in competition.
I guess when you all are training another house in the future, your sentiments might be the same as mine, if you see your juniors cry because of FD and maybe others! Haha but don't worry, even if ultimately, after all the training you get, last position or something next year, its not a problem, as long as you all remember why you guys are in St Johns in the first place. As a member of the St Johns Ambulance Brigade, do commit and read your FA Manual, or ask when in doubt. Due diligence, yeah :) But yah i believe you all are on your way to being capable First Aiders, keep your skills even after you pass out of SJ okay! .. (Maybe im talking a bit waay too ahead)
Anyway im happy as it is to be a House Captain of Hera. I've learned a lot from you guys. A really caring and considerate bunch, I must say. Despite having my NA Com Trains as well, it was very enjoyable taking you all for com trains, and several times the motivation for com trains are you guys, even though it was tiring! :)
There was once a senior told me that the juniors in my house (you guys) reflected on how I guide you all. That is, when you all were goofing around, haha! I remember how you opened an invisible stretcher yesterday in the waiting room yesterday and even timed yourselves. (I remember Jacqueline saying "44 seconds!" LOL) Hahaha! Do maintain this happy and crazy mood even if I don't take your house in the coming months, because its really how Hera has been the past few years. Take care of your juniors this year, okay, you seniors :)
Despite the number of keepfits you all still owe us! LOL, I hope you all had a lot of fun under our guidance, be it if com trains were tough, or if they were tiring after a taxing day of school! Im glad you all have put in so much effort for this year's comp, and do keep up the good work for next year as well. For the Standard Twos, all the best for your Year-end Camp, and Tabitha/Marcus, all the best for instructorhood!
This sounds like a goodbye post, but no lah, just thought about this experience i've had taking this great House for the past year :) YOU ALL WILL STILL SEE ME AROUND IN THE MONTHS TO COME (at least until July) HEH.
Do approach me if school work's bugging you guys, I have 27 other pro kias to help you along. (my squadmates!)
